Heavily influenced by folk art environments, roadside chains, Looney Tunes landscapes and land art, I create work about the power of places. We are drawn to places that hold us and open us, that teach us and touch us. I try to draw these places. Using reclaimed doors as my canvas, I invite viewers to open themselves to places in new ways, with the doors acting as place markers themselves.
